Short Description of Program:
View advanced manufacturing up close by touring Denso, one of the world’s largest producers of car parts. Established in 1988, the Maryville company features four manufacturing plants producing starters, alternators, instrument clusters, electronics (includes engine, safety, and device products), and body electronics (focus on remote keyless entry, auto air conditioning control units, tire pressure monitoring systems and body control modules).
Outcomes of Program:
Students have the opportunity to see the manufacturing process up close, from design to creation. Students learn about the role of technology and automation on the process and potential job opportunities down the road.
