*One submission per school per academic year.*
Owning/Managing Organization: Christian Brothers University School of Engineering and the Omega Delta Chapter of Theta Tau Professional Engineering Fraternity
We invite students to our campus to participate in competitions, learn in workshops, and observe demonstrations. Our events cover a wide variety of engineering and science fields.
Outcomes of Program:
The purpose of this program is to give middle school and high school students the opportunity to see what STEM fields are like, and to give them opportunities to gain problem solving and design skills. These skills will be helpful to them in their future academic careers, regardless if they pursue a STEM field.
Students can participate in a competition, which requires a registration fee, or just come visit for the workshops and demonstrations.
This is a day program, hosted on October 29th from 9am-3pm.
The cost is $15 per student participating in a competition, payable by card, cash, or check. The fee gives them lunch and a t-shirt. A $5 lunch pass is also available for teachers or students who just want to visit workshops.
Event can be attended by any number of individuals, solo or within a group.
Students participating in competitions are ranked and the 1st-3rd places get a certificate.
One per school.
